The Police Department has to submit Law and Order Report (LOR) on daily basis to the Election Commission of India. Uttar Pradesh has 74 Districts and 4 Commissionerate’s the report has to be collected from every District and Commissionerate on a daily basis. Once the report is collected at Range Level from the Districts falling under its purview, the data is consolidated and send to Zonal Office and HQ. The Headquarter consolidates the data and sends the report to Election Commission with a districtwide breakup and consolidated data of the state.

District needs to submit on daily basis

  • Law and Order Report
  • Model Code of Conduct Report (MCC-1)
  • Model Code of Conduct Report (MCC-1A)
  • Model Code of Conduct Report (MCC-2)
  • Daily Activity Report by Flying Squad on seizure of Cash/ Other items related Complaints
  • Daily Activity Report by Flying Squad on seizure of Cash/ Other items related Complaints
  • Daily Activity Report by District Police on seizure of Cash/ Other items

  • District Level report is fed by SSP/SP Office
  • The data is displayed on DIG Range’s panel. The DIG Range is able to view LOR reports submitted by all the Districts under there purview
  • The DIG can view the detailed report and make any changes (If the information by District is incorrect) before approving
  • They can also view the detailed report of all the Districts under there jurisdiction
  • ADG are also allotted username and passwords and they were able to view the reports of districts/police stations under there area of jurisdiction
  • HQ can generate/view the report of all Districts separately/Consolidated of all the districts
  • HQ can also generate LOR to be submitted to ECI on daily basis
  • HQ can also generate LOR Report separately for all Phases of elections
